We already have been offered shelter in Holland and in various places in the central and southern parts of Israel, mostly by family and good friends but also by casual acquaintances and friends of friends. The level of togetherness among Israelis is amazing, as is the solidarity of most of our true friends abroad. In the meantime we have no reason to leave our home. Maybe, if this war turns out to be a longterm affair, my wife might take the children and go to a place where they will be able to play outside, go for a swim etc. Staying inside all the time is hard for all of us, but for the children it is the hardest. In any case I will stay home to work on my thesis, I cannot afford much more than a few additional days of hardly doing anything substantial.
