Even more than sixty years after the Shoah ended we continue to discover details about its horrors and its active and passive perpetrators, but also about their victims and about the men and women who did their best to save the lives of some of those victims. While at the one hand less and less survivors remain, on the other hand new technologies make it easier for researchers to preserve the memory of those who perished and the memories of those who survived, and for survivors to help interpreting sources to which otherwise they might not have had access. One new finding, such as this album ( or such as this album ), can provide historians and others with an amazing amount of new data and knowledge.
