Right now I am listening to this CD, with orchestral works by Giacomo Puccini. I bought the disc years ago, for no reason that I can remember. I love Verdi's operas and do not know much about Puccini's ( I only have one of them on CD, Manon Lescaut ), maybe I bought the album because of the conductor, Riccardo Chailly. Anyway, it is magnificent, I have been playing it over and over again this last couple of days.
