I liked this article, by political analyst Attila Somfalvi, who in fact says that in spite of Olmert's apparent ambition to leave office like Tony Blair, he will be remembered as an Israeli version of Tony Soprano. Ehud Olmert deserves some credit for the mere fact that he was able to surprise the nation with the timing of his announcement not to run for the leadership of Kadima. Maybe for that, and for his performance last night, he deserves another Tony.
