The words sad and shocking do not even begin to describe
this story. The reason why I mention it here is that the report contains what seems to be the understatement ( or the statement of the obvious ) of the year 2008:
"It was not an amicable divorce," ( police Lt. Pat Buchanan said.)
Really?
