Complaining about biased and untruthful reports appears to help, sometimes. I do not know which and how many people complained ( I did not, but hey, maybe they read this weblog, a link to my previous posting appears next to the article, courtesy of Twingly's ping service ), but I am sure that the editors of the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf did not change the heading "Israel opens fire against Lebanon" to "Lebanon opens fire against Israel" on their own initiative. The heading is still wrong - not Lebanon but one of the, propably Palestinian, terrorist factions that use the country as their base of operations fired the rockets - but less far from the truth than the original one. The stupid and hateful comments are still there, though none were added during the last hour or so.
