This beautiful song, almost an indictment, sung by Mirjam Krieg, the now 80-years-old daughter of the composer, was written in 1947 by the German/Dutch-Jewish conductor-composer Hans Krieg (1899-1961). In a very direct, biting and moving way the song's author asks "Where are the Jews of our Amsterdam?". I came across the video through the website of the Dutch daily Het Parool. The song was considered lost until the sheet music was found in the attic of Mirjam Krieg.
