End of an era, beginning of a new one

Although I had and have little sympathy for Mr Gadhafi, the brutal way in which he was lynched and the repeated, hysterical shouts of 'Allahu Akbar' by one or more of his killers made me wonder once again if  during the last months NATO - the US and Europe - has not been helping to create a new uncontrollable and unstable component within an already not very stable region. Let's hope - for the sake of the Libyan people, and for our own - that in the near future misgivings such as these will turn out to have been unfounded.

I thought the same. And what a disgusting double, if not triple standard. Can anyone tell me why it's okay to butcher Ghaddafi, but not okay to butcher anyone else?

Why did anybody protest against Israel's liquidations at all? After all, we were in real danger from the terrorists in question and had no chance of catching them and putting them into prison. (Not to mention that our prisons don't seem to hold prisoner very well...)

In short, either one is for lynch killings or against them. Eyfa ve eyfa, quod licet Iovi non licet bovi - that's totally immoral IMO.
