Worth reading

Although I have neither the time nor the patience to sit and write long or short postings for this blog these days, I read a lot and keep informed about what is going on here and elsewhere in the world. Carlo Strenger and Bradley Burston have caught my attention (and, while I read their articles, received several nods of assent) recently with some of their work. One of the very few weblogs that I visit on a regular basis (once a week or more) is that of Rob Fransman, where I found the beautiful picture (Amsterdam, Spiegelgracht) that you can see at the top of this posting.
