Leadership & Charisma

I have just finished reading (most of) Keith Grint's Leadership - A Very Short Introduction (OUP, 2010). I found the following quote (p. 97) particularly interesting and relevant:

"...we need to be wary of charismatic leaders. They may be important in a crisis, but may be impelled to maintain the crisis if resolving it undermines their authority. "
