I am not sure if I agree with everything that the author of this article says, but he does have a point or two, and he summarizes very well what being an Israel is all about: "Never be a sucker individually, but be the biggest sucker as part of a group." Being a frayer (sucker) is the biggest fear of virtually every Israeli, but on a collective level Israelis let their leaders get away with corruption, murder, and many other pretty bad things.
